to remember how it felt
My favorite Dubrovnik Sponza Palace Wedding ceremony of K&M’s wedding! This medieval palace has had many purposes over the years. It it built in Dubrovnik’s Gothic-Renaissance style in the 16th century. Nowadays, it stores Dubrovnik’s archives and hosts wedding celebrations, gallery exhibits throughout the year.
The Sponza Palace is a perfect venue for wedding ceremonies, as well as wedding receptions. Even though it is located in the center of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, it still offers privacy. Its courtyard hidden from the streets, yet in the center of everything important. An intimate wedding or a 200 people dinner? Be it for just exchanging the vows with a quick toast after, or also having a gala dinner here, the Sponza Palace offers a backdrop like from the movies. Here are the photos of Katie & Matt’s ceremony from last August.
One of those places that make me wanna go to Dubrovnik and just learn all about its history. Read some more general info here.
Check out a full wedding story, the wedding of Beth & Andrew who also had their ceremony at the Sponza Palace.
