Questions answered

How many photos do we get and how long does it take?

There is no set quantity of images, but for most of our clients it ends up at 800+, unless it’s a smaller wedding with half day coverage. You can expect your photos 6-12 weeks after the wedding. Sometimes sooner – never later. This may be slightly longer in the peak of the season, when all gets piled up – June to September, but also considerably quicker for weddings outside the season.

How do we receive our photos?

To take a first look at your photos, we give you a link to an online gallery. Then you either receive a USB or a download link for high-res files.

How do we book you and what is the payment procedure?

To book your wedding date, a retainer/deposit is required. After the deposit has been payed, we send a booking confirmation. The rest is due the week before the wedding or at the wedding. We also send an agreement for you to sign.

Can we buy wedding books from you?

Of course! We offer different types of wedding books. You can pick one before your wedding or after the wedding.

What cameras do you use and do you have back-up equipment?

We use all Nikon professional gear and we bring even back-up to the back-up!

Do you blog every wedding and do we have to let you use our photos on your web?

We try to update our website and blog as often as possible. But usually during the wedding season we end up sharing just a few photos from every other wedding. This website and our blog is our online home and we rely on it entirely for bookings. Therefor, it’s also important to us that we can use all our weddings to “decorate” our online home with. Be it just a couple photos or the whole story on our blog.

Do you shoot family formals at all?

Of course! Every bride, mother and granny needs those family formals. We do shoot them at every wedding, but we just don’t show them on our blog.

Can I give you a list with things/people we’d like you to take photos of on our day?

Yes, of course. For people mostly. If we’d get a list of things (like shoes, flowers, the place cards, the table decor etc) there’s a big chance we would make photos of those things anyway.

What if you get sick (or something…)?

We’re also only human, so one of us getting sick and not being able to attend a wedding is a possibility as for anyone else. If the wedding date is far enough, we would let you know so you can find a replacement. But if it’s out of the blue – we do have a list of friends and colleagues photographers who could jump in. A photographers nightmare!

We need to speak to you to make a decision. Skype call an option?

Sure. If you’re not close enough to meet in person, Skype calls are great. A photographer is someone who is around aaaall day long on such a big day in our lives. Might as well check if you like us, first.
