Villa Argentina Dubrovnik Wedding
I’m so not good at expressing myself and putting things on paper, telling stories. So I don’t think my storytelling can do any justice to this beautiful wedding. Georgina & Joshua really went the extra mile about planning their dream wedding. I was like a little kid in a toy house all day, from getting ready to the end. And having to choose photos for this blog post from all the 1400 edited we made was a 5 hours task.
Georgina & Joshua chose to have a Great Gatsby themed wedding. And their ceremony took place in the Grand Villa Argentina, built on a steep cliff side, leading down through gardens to the sea, with a fantastic view of the island of Lokrum and to the old harbor of Dubrovnik Old Town. It was first built as a mansion in the 20th century and then was converted into a luxury hotel. As soon as you walk into the hotel reception, the incredible scenery just takes your breath away. This venue just played so well with their wedding theme. It was a dream fit!
I’m so thankful for having been there and the opportunity to tell their story through our eyes. The couple spent their first night as husband and wife surrounded by those they love the most – friends and family. And I hope we made sure that these photos will always be able to bring them back to that day.
Many thanks to the amazing team who brought this wedding to life!
