When it comes to destination weddings throughout Croatia, choosing a favorite spot as a wedding photographer Brac island wins the run for me. It still isn’t heavily visited during season like all the other islands. You constantly have the feeling of time standing still there.
Polina and Paul chose a small village on island Brac, called Dol. A small church on a hill with the tallest trees was the background as they read their vows to each other.
Their dinner/reception was at very old family run restaurant which is actually owned by the 12th generation of the same family. Kastil Gospodnetic is one of those places on my list where we have to return in a more casual arrangement. Growing their own vine grapes, olives, vegetables. Sitting in their garden having dinner feels like being in an old movie. Documenting Polina and Paul’s wedding there was so much fun.
Choosing these photos here to show out of 1400 was the hardest work. I hope these will convey half the greatness of that day.
P&P – thanks a million for having us there!
